TL;DR: here’s the link, dude.
Initially, I used Money+ by zotiger studios for my cashflow tracking. But, because I want cloud sync across my devices (and absolutely I couldn’t afford to buy the premium Money+ yet), I thought of using Google Spreadsheet. I tried looking for a template. Then, I got one from Home Sweet Loan (2024) film. The main character uses a Google Spreadsheet to track her finance. But, I found it quite excessive than what I needed then. It looked like it was made to track a person’s whole networth rather than day to day cashflow. Hence, I made this template for my cashflow tracking.
This is based on Google’s Monthly Budget template on Spreadsheets and Money (the pocketing system especially). It suits my needs so far, except the redundant steps needed to track cash withdrawal: make an entry in expenses and an entry in income. Kindly let me know if you find an easier way.
So, here it is: Open
And, by the way, I tried vibe coding a money management app in Flutter. But, the SQLite file in Google Drive occupied more space than a couple of Google Spreadsheet files size combined — even though the spreadsheet file obviously got bigger once downloaded as Excel. So, yeah, it’s just not worth doing for me and I just continued using the spreadsheet.
Edit (16/04/2026): I’m using Cashew right now.
